The Glenlivet 25yo XXV

The Glenlivet XXV is a 25 years old Speyside single malt from the Glenlivet distillery. A premium whisky made from a vintage selection of 1980 whisky’s matured together in Oloroso sherry casks for two years. Bottled at 43% ABV.

Nose: very intense and creamy aroms with Oloroso sherry, fruit, spices, sandalwood, cigar box, orange cream, cider apples and a whiff of cinnamon

Palate: gentle, soft and sweet followed by spicy notes like, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, some dark chocolate, orange zes tand exotic fruit like roasted pineapple

Finish: long, slightly drying and spicy and with all aromas from the palate with some sweeter fruit. Very complex and balanced
