The wine has a purple colour, shading to orange at the rim, and an elegant nose on notes of caramel and tobacco. The fruit, slightly reserved initially, opens up with airing to offer attractive humus aromas.

The tannic structure is close-knit and firm on the palate, with a highly elegant texture. The overall impression is harmonious and pleasing, with an agreeably long and structured finish.
