Redbreast 22 Year Old 2000 First Fill Sherry Cask

Nose : Refined, concentrated. On the first nose, citrus fruits (orange, mandarin), toffee, Emery cloth and lavender fragrances reflect the aroma palette’s incredible complexity. With aeration, it shows great purity with exotic (mango, persimmon) and heady (turpentine) tones.

Palate : Rich, powerful. Intense chocolate notes stand out from the start. The deliciously tannic mid-palate reveals a variety of dried fruit and nuts (fig, date, chestnut). Finally, fruit-cake flavours bring great richness.

Overall : Long, full. With a very refined texture, the finish at first unveils astonishingly eloquent notes of plantain banana and botrytized grapes. The very noble after-taste moves between pipe tobacco, spice bread and lime blossom honey.
