Reminniscent of the 100% Sherry oak in its distinctive combination of dried fruits, orange spice cake, peel heavy marmalade and light nuttiness... it doesn't have the weight and presence of its twelve year old sibling at 43%, but it's not too far off. There's a trace of sulphur and a splash of vanilla through the finish. In short, it's a decent lighter-styled sherried malt with a reasonable price tag. 40% Alc./Vol.
