Dalmore 35 Year Old 2019 Release

This rare 35 Year Old expression from the Highland distillery is derived from a special three wood assemblage using a Bourbon barrel, a Matusalem 30 year old Oloroso Sherry butt and a rare vintage 1970 Port Colheita Pipe. Presented in a bespoke crystal decanter crafted by Baccarat, the prestigious French crystal house, and featuring The Dalmore's iconic '12-point Royal Stag' created by leading Scottish silversmiths, Hamilton & Inches.Crushed almonds, coffee mousse, soft liquorice and ginger bread on the nose. The palate has dark treacle cake, banana bread and freshly ground coffee notes, before roasted chestnuts, raisins and intense orange peel in the finish.

The precious liquid is matured in distillery run ex-bourbon barrels, Port Colheita pipes and casks which have previously held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry before being brought back together to marry in first fill ex-bourbon barrels.
